Nick Dunbar is a senior marketing student at the University of Montana. Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Nick has had a passion for the outdoors since 2003, the year he was born. Upon moving to Missoula, Montana, to pursue an undergraduate degree in a beautiful destination, he has had the privilege of traveling around the west and building on his hobbies including rock climbing, casual photography, snowboarding, hiking, running, fishing, and target shooting.
Furthermore, Nick quickly developed a strong passion for digital content, advertising, and marketing. He is continuously seeking new knowledge and skills to advance in this field.
With his passion for the outdoors and extreme curiosity for those who brave it, Nick is on a mission to “pick the brains” of climbers in the treasure state, as shown in the AlpineVoice Montana podcast.
About AlpineVoice Montana
AlpineVoice Montana is designed to center around the guest’s experiences as a climber in Montana. While we encourage guests to ask questions and keep the conversation flowing, the spotlight will remain on their journey. Each episode will offer a deep dive into the guest’s story—how they’ve built their sense of community in Montana, how it differs from their hometown, their personal achievements and goals, and the type of climber they are (whether they push their limits or enjoy a laid back experience)
Our goal is to inspire new climbers who are curious about the Missoula and Montana climbing scene, helping them find a similar sense of belonging. Through open conversations, we aim to solve common challenges for newcomers, offering them the confidence to either move to Missoula for climbing or simply start their climbing journey with the support of this growing community.
